More of an experience than a simple stay, really. I know, I know, the ads said its haunted and that the hauntings are part of the attraction or the charm of this place, but if I had it my way I really would've gone anywhere else. Anywhere else. It feels asif the very hotel has a beating heart, that it had its eyes on me constantly, and it just. Really. Freaked me out. I still feel like I'm being watched. Besides that, excellent customer service and amenities. Please release whatever hex you've cast upon me.

NOTHING HERE HAS MADE MY BED OR BODY FEEL SAFE AND NOTHING HAS CAUSED ENOUGH HARM FOR ME TO GO HOME. I WILL NEVER FEEL ALIVE LIKE THIS AGAIN. SPARE ME THE CONSEQUENCES.

An interesting stay. Each corner felt a bit too long, though they were malleable enough. Please do ensure the space in the cabinets are more coherent in the future however, I lost my favorite arm.

Desserts were stale. Texture was like wax. Pastries tasted like perfume.

What can I say that hasn't been said already? It's the best hotel there is! Granted, it's the only hotel I've been to, but I reckon that don't matter. P.S. Go easy on the rotary next time.

Warmest greetings, my delightful automaton! We're thrilled to hear the hotel was able to leave such a wonderful impression on a rare, valued guest-- why bother with other establishments when you've already found the magnum opus of the Cursed Apple, I say. We truly appreciate your kind review, and would be honored to welcome you back again for another relaxing stay. Ahem. P.S., because two can play at this game-- we offer family packages for weekend stays. Food for thought?

While I admit an extended stay was not my first choice for accommodations over my summer break, it turned out to be an enlightening experience. I was quite familiar with the excellent quality of the food and service for those simply visiting, but when you're a guest, there's simply nowhere else going to such lengths to make you feel welcome. I will say, the spirits can be disruptive at times. I read somewhere that they can sometimes be more active around those with unresolved inner turmoil, but maybe there's another explanation for why my room was a bit more haunted. Reguardless, this establishment really is as good as its reputation.

It's always a pleasure to see you, dear prince! Needless to say, you and your family's continued support means a great deal us here at the hotel. It's an honor to serve such an important guest, and we hope that our service continues to impress. On the subject of your rooming-- our spirits are a lively few, but I'm sure their wiles portend nothing. Spirits are a fickle bunch, but not one that can't be negotiated with. We offer free warding rites in the lobby for guests who prefer not to be disturbed if the problem persists. On an unrelated note, do let us know if you ever prefer to change how you're addressed.

Such a curious yet immaculate place. Despite the current renovations, it felt as if the halls were endless. Being lost here wasn't too troubling though, the employees are very attentive people! It's almost like they haunt the halls, but I say that as a positive since they can easily help you find your way around. I hope to stay again at some point!

Thank you for your wonderful review, dear guest! We’re especially happy to hear you felt safe and comfortable throughout your stay. Of course, we'll be sure to forward your praises to our lovely staff-- our service to you here is our utmost priority, and attentivity is all but a duty. It would never do to leave a guest lost in our winding halls! We look forward to welcoming you back again, should you ever return to our dear city.

'S a lovely place. (even when 'dey won't give you a room. Worst case scenario, there's plenty 'a space under the elevator, and, by extension, between the walls. Might wanna patch that lil' gap up, friend.) As much some of the staff treat respectful folk such as myself like a pest, I still make sure to handle your little rodent problem whenever I'm in town. Thanks for keepin' 'em real fat for me, friend. :) Fine establishment. I would recommend it to anyone passin' through New York for work, pleasure, or The Ritual. I hope you know I can feel you watchin' me while I'm inside this place. I already apologized for the curtains, and I haven't touched any of your payin' customers inside the hotel since the first Maelstrom. Stop it. Stay out of my goddamn business, I'll stay out of yours.

Dearest anonymous guest, we appreciate your review, and your guides on keeping out the vermin. We're glad you enjoyed our lounges, our corridors, our walls, and our staff-only passages, though the latter of which we'd prefer you traverse in company of a supervising guide. Though your concern is duly heard, we would like to remind you on our policy surrounding duty of care-- though all guests are entitled to a certain level of privacy, it would be prudent to mind your intentions around the watchful eyes of our staff. Intervention is not an impossibility, for the safety of our paying guests. If any of your business so happens to fall under said watchful eyes, well-- c'est la vie, friend. Additionally, we would like to remind you that the Baroness' mailroom accepts larger packages through a chute by the door. If you have sent a curtains-shaped parcel any time in the past half-century, we have sadly not yet received it. On an unrelated note, velvet Jacobean floral is "in".

What does the Baroness mean to me? What does the morning dew mean to the bottoms of your feet? What does the first breath of a newborn mean to its anxious mother? What does air mean to the kindling flames of a fresh fire? I don't like, nor love The Baroness. I need The Baroness. I've grown so accustomed to the hospitality that even in the other hotel (the one in McComb I shan't name...), it simply pales in comparison. Never will I ever feel as at home as I do when lounging in the chairs, surrounded by the ever omniscient piano tune of The Baroness. Adore the blue eyed bellhop as well. Brian I think his name was.

What a truly flattering review! Forgive the lack of formalities, but such a passion for our hotel is a rare surprise. I confess, dear guest, perhaps we are of kindred souls-- where I would be without my own love for our hotel, I wouldn't know. Do come back again, yes? P.S., it is not Brian.

What lovely accommodations y’all have! I’m embarrassed to admit, but I was hesitant when my Ma recommended the Baroness. Never been too keen on stayin’ in the big city and my folks live upstate, so I just didn’t see the point. Boy, she wasn’t kiddin’ when she told me this place would change my life. I was so taken aback, I was convinced I must’ve died and gone to heaven! On a side note, I gotta know what y’all put in those complimentary soaps to make ‘em smell so dang good! And don’t even get me started on the way they leave my hair so silky and soft. Just divine!

Dear Silas, warmest greetings from all of us here at the Baroness! We're absolutely thrilled to hear we could make your visit to the city a memorable one. We extend all our love to your dear mother as well, for her kind recommendation. Between the two of us, perhaps I can share a little secret behind our luxuries; we have all our amenities directly sourced from either in-city artisans, or authentic extraplanar imports. There can be no shortcuts taken to quality! We look forward to welcoming you again, dear guest, whenever that may be.

Yanno, it's hard not to love this place? It's not often that I get to feel like a real princess, but the folks over at the Baroness never fail to shoot for the stars! Jacques still makes a mean Mai Tai, as always. I've been to the Baroness a million times, but it never gets any less special. Anyone notice that the bellhop at the door is looking extra spiffy as of late? I think it's those new bracelets he got in the mail! I wonder who sent those? Much love from the Circus, forever and always. ♡

Dearest Celeste, thank you so much for your wonderful review, and warmest regards to the star troupe of Coney! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the charm and character of our hotel, as well as the provisions of our contemporary in-house bar. It is especially heartening to hear your kind words about our staff! We'll be sure to share your compliments with them, as we know they'll be delighted to hear that they made such a positive impression. I can say this for one more confidently than others, hahaha. Thank you for recommending us, and we truly hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back again very very soon. Much love from the Baroness, forever and always.

Lovely atmosphere this place holds, might I say better than the heavens.. Enjoyed amenities that came with the room. Kudos to the ginger bellboy up front, quite the eyes he has, a charmer.
